The health benefits of eucalyptus are well-known and wide ranging and its properties include anti-inflammatory, antispasmodic, decongestant, deodorant, antiseptic, antibacterial, stimulating, and other medicinal qualities.

Eucalyptus has antiseptic qualities because of its germicidal properties.  It is useful for healing wounds, ulcers, burns abrasions and sores.  It is also effective for insect bites and stings.  Besides soothing the affected area, it also protects the open wound or irritated area from developing infections from exposure to the air.

Diffuse the oil for effective treatment of a number of respiratory problems including  cold, cough, runny nose, sore throat, asthma, nasal congestion and sinusitis.  Also very effective for removing exhauston and mental sluggishness and rejuvenates the spirits of the poorly.  Also effective in the treatment of stress.

I have found that this oil is invaluable in cleaning.  It cleans gum and grease with ease and I always put a capful in my final rinse.  It is such a versatile oil - we love it in our household.
